Just spent a weekend from Friday to Sunday at this Hotel. Great location just along from the High Street and the train station. The staff can't do enough for you. They are very attentive. The Tribute Show on Saturday was great! Would recommend this hotel and would go again!

This is a large hotel in the centre of Dumfries. I had a single room which had a double bed the decor was a bit dated but the room was clean. We stayed here because it has a pool and that's probably it's saviour. The bar is small and pokey and they didn't have anything on draught except lager, despite there being Guinness and another tap there. On arrival the hotel looked very promising with a pleasing entrance and reception. Booked a twin room for 2 nights bed and breakfast. Put in room 22 initially but this room smelt so strongly of cigarette smoke after 3 hours feeling really ill went to Reception and asked to be moved.
