A very smart and welcoming hotel when we first entered reception in the old part of the building. The room, which was situated in a new block adjesent to the main building, was very comfortable, had a telly with freeview, a nice smart bathroom with toilet and shower, and a hugh soft bed. We have just returned from our third stay at the Aston hotel, Dumfries. As always, comfortable, tasty and enjoyable. Huge beds, excelent shower, free wi-fi: what more do you want? Very good menu, something for everone. Will be back. more
