We have been to Marthrown of Mabie a few times to camp for a weekend and completely fell in love with it. So much so that we decided to get married there! We got married outside in the forest amongst the bluebells. The people at Marthrown are brilliant and there are so many things that make it such a special magical place. Whilst we were there we had an amazing hog roast, a ceilidh on the lawn and made extensive use of the brilliant hot tub and sauna! We also rigged up a sound system in the celtic roundhouse which made it a unique party venue - there are no neighbours! During our stay we used the (very) high ropes course that they have on site, and also did a team challenge/adventure activity through the forest. You can stay in any kind of accomodation from camping to bunkhouse to mongolian yurt to tipi! A brilliant place to have bonfires and BBQs and watch the red squirrels.... I can't possibly recommend it more highly! more
