My wife and I stayed in one of the chalets for a couple of days, which was cosy, clean and quiet. The food was excellent, The only downside being the price structure, as it can differ. If you book I suggest, enquire a couple of times at a different hour and ask for a choice of room available. more

Stayed for a family wedding reception at the Solway and we were well treated throughout with the exception of one slightly gobby waitress who was swiftly put in her place by more experienced staff. 79 of us travelled to Gretna from Essex, Daventry and Milton Keynes to attend a wedding at the old blacksmiths in Gretna and the reception was held at the Solway Lodge.
