Excellent 2 bedroom apartment for a nights rest on the way to the Trossachs. Yvonne and Derek were lovely hosts and very accommodating. The apartment is a great layout with spacious and very comfortable bedrooms and a bathroom and the main living area has everything you could need. Why would anyone stay in a chain style b&b when somewhere like... More

I had a charity cycle in Moffat. My Wife and I stayed here. We booked a room but since I was cycling we were given the "granny annexe" as it had a bath. The annexe was brilliant and I couldn't fault anything about it. The owners even gave me £10 towards the charity. Breakfast was excellent also. The B&B is... More

Every thing that previous reviewers has said is completely true, we had a lovely nights stay there and found Yvonne and Derek most welcoming and friendly, lovely comfortable attractive room, huge bathroom both of which were spotless. Because we had been touring Scotland for 3 weeks we were a bit english breakfasted out (as you can imagine) so when we... More

We stayed here on our way up to The Highlands - to break the journey. I was looking for a simple B&B to lay our heads down before setting off for the big part of our trip! What we got far exceeded this and I would have no hesitation in recommending The Clarefoot Residence to anyone. Our room was big,... More

On arrival we recieved a very warm welcome from Yvonne and Derek, the owners. Nothing was too much trouble, they offered to help with our luggage and motorbikes, which we travelled up on. The bedroom and ensuite were spotless, and the house in general was very clean, tidy and really homely. The food was excellent and there was plenty of... More

We stayed at Clarefoot for one night on our way to Skye. Yvonne and Derek made us feel extremely welcome from the minute we arrived to the moment we left. Some of our party stayed in the annexe and the others in a twin room. Both accommodation was very clean, spacious and felt very homely. Moffat is a lovely town... More

Our second visit to Clarefoot on motorcycles. Location is central to some awesome scenery and fantastic roads. Yvonne and Derek making us most welcome. It seems nothing is too much trouble. The house setting is tranquil and only 5 or 10 minutes pleasant walk into town. Recommended? - Absolutely! More
