I had been in the hostel with a groupe of students and we were pleased with it. It was quite in the centre of Dundeein a nice old buildung, so everything could be reached soon. The kitchen was big and well equipped, the bathrooms clean. The staff at the reception was always frieendly and helpful. There was a TV- and... More

The buildings in which this hostel is located have been painstakingly restored resulting in modern facilities but retaining all of the character of the original buildings. Dotted around the interior are information boards telling the story of the building's past and its restoration which add to the charm of the place. You could spend hours just exploring this place. Communal... More

The hostel is excellent located, very close to all places of interests, cafés, pubs and shops. This building is really exceptional with its long history - there are very impressive photos from before renovation. The staff was friendly and the fully equipped kitchen was very useful. Haven't used internet or TV but was available. We had the double room ensuite... More

This hostel was a bit harder to find than it's sister hostel in Edinburgh due to the fact that they don't have a sign hanging out of the front. It reminded me of a fun house as in that it consisted of three different buildings all interconnected to form the hostel. It's a good thing they have signs otherwise you... More

I stayed here for two nights, and the staff were great. Some of the other guests, however, were inconsiderate, loud, and I think even smoking inside. One of the nights, a group were running up and down the stairs laughing, screaming, and practically throwing suitcases around! I'd understand a little more if it was a weekend (still unacceptable), but jeez.... More

We traveled with a group of students to visit the University of Dundee and had booked an entire section of the 2nd floor (an 8-bedroom dorm, 2 double en suites and 2 double standard rooms). Everyone enjoyed the stay: the place has character, is clean, comfortable, well located (in the center, pedestrian part of town; 10mn walk from the university)... More

Stayed at the Hostel for 3 nights and was relatively happy with the accomodation. Check in was okay (only issue was the card machine was broken, hence had to find cash machine and pay by cash). I stayed in the double room with onsuite, which was located right at the top floor of the hotel so had to climb a... More
