Located at the base of Dundee on the banks of the Tay, the hotel is only a short cab ride from the airport and walkable from the train station. A Hilton room always delivers with style, cleanliness and comfort, so no issues here. Some sort of whirring was above me (top floor room, air conditioning?) so not great for light... more

Arrggh...If there's one thing I can't stand it's arriving at a hotel advertised as with parking and there being nowhere to actually park! The car park here is meant to be pay-and-display (or something very similar) but the machines, barriers etc etc were not working so the car park was busting at the seams as everyone and their uncle crammed... more

First the only complaint I have is the ventilation in the room. We where on the first floor overlooking the Tay, great view, but I have never been in a room where there appeared to be very little ventilation. I know this is Scotland, but there is definitely a need for AC. Being on a tour we had a limited... more

Stayed over night in this Hotel as attending a wedding the next day. We booked dinner bed and breakfast and I must say the food was excellent. The dining room also has a nice view over the river Tay. The only down side was that we had a room at the end of the building next to a spare plot... more

My wife and two sons, one being four and a half the other 7 months, myself and mother and father in law stayed at the hilton for four nights, never ever ever again. It started as soon as we tried to check in, a long wait at the desk only one person checking in the guests, only to be told... more

I stayed here 15 years ago and was a bit concerned it would be in need of a refurb. It had already had one. The public areas, gym, pool were all exceptionally clean as was the room which had eveyrthing you could ask for. Very comfy large king bed. Fluffy towels good quality toiletries. Breakfast was a very extensive buffet.... more

I stayed for a relaxing weekend away with my wife, we were welcomed from the moment we entered the hotel and throughout our visit, the room was spacious, clean, and the lazy chair was the most comfortable chair I have ever sat in. We had a king room over looking the tay and the views at dusk were amazing. The... more

Stayed here for 2 nights. Hotel overlooks the Tay and is only a short walk away over a footbridge, to the city centre. My room on the first floor overlooked the river and as it had large windows, it made the rrom very light, airy and inviting. Unfortunately part of the carpet was worn in places and the window ledge hadn't... more

I spent a night in Hilton Dundee and I have to say I was unimpressed. I have stayed in other Hilton hotels and this is by far the worst. The room was old fashioned, the furniture had clearly been there for a very long time and many of the fittings were incredibly worn. The only modern aspect of the room... more

Stayed at the Hilton Dundee recently on business for one night with colleagues. I understand that this hotel used to be the Dundee Stakis before it became a Hilton franchise. From the outside it has truly awful looks - typical of the time period in which it was built no doubt. I paid £72 for a Standard Double but was... more
