Room good size and of good decoration. Bed and furniture tatty and dated, mattress soft and lumpy. Shower dated and leaking. Sound proofing between rooms poor, could hear foot steps upstairs etc. Food tasty and arrived in good time. more

Having stayed here for a day or two each year for the last 3 years, I have no hesitation in recommending the Longforgan Inn if you are looking for friendly, comfortable accomadation at a reasonable price. Rooms in the separate courtyard are better in our experience that the ones in the main building but all are comfortable nevertheless. The proprietors,... more

Couldn't disagree more strongly with the negative reviews of this establishment. I have stayed there in 2002, 2003 & 2004 and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. The last 2 years were group bookings I organised and I have had no negative feedback. The hosts are warm & friendly and the fayre is reasonable priced. If I had wanted to stay... more

I have now stayed at Longforgan Coaching Inn three times since 2001 and on each occasion have received a warm and friendly welcome. Its character comes from not only being at the heart of the local community but also by offering excellent value accommodation and fayre to both the business and holiday traveller. Longforgan is a great location to explore... more

There are some lovely little gastro-pubs in small villages throughout Scotland. This isn't one of them. The food is simply awful - majoring in deep-fried everything. Menu seems to date from the 70's (prawns Marie-Rose, peach melba). Accommodation tatty & none too clean. Stay away. more

I spent two nights in this small hotel/pub in 2001. The location is central to the village, the food was basic but very good (and cheap). The rooms were nice and the staff very friendly. more

Having seen the kitchen, I would strongly suggest that you give this establishment a wide berth. Let's just say that the health and wellbeing of the customer is'nt a very high priority for the kitchen staff...or the manager for that matter! more
