If you are looking for a no frills two star option for the night, then the Fisherman's is very acceptable. I stayed there the other night in the context of a get together of several friends from Dundee (many still there, others like myself now living elsewhere). I was one of a party of 8 (golfing trip to nearby Carnoustie) and we had an enjoyable stay here. We had 4 twin rooms - and all were pretty comfortable - if a little on the small side - but this is a B&B in Scotland - not a hotel. The pub downstairs was excellent and was very busy... more

I have had the pleasure of staying at The Fisherman's Tavern Hotel on numerous occasions over the years and the place gets better with every visit.
