Although booked only a day before, we felt really welcome. As the location is hard to find the excellent directions of Barrie were perfect. The room was a suite, very nice. One of the best views ever, and perfectly cooked breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay with Barrie and Olwyn. The house was lovely, the surroundings very pretty and our hosts made us feel right at home. Chef Matt prepared us a fabulous dinner, best we had during our trip. The whole had a unprecedented 007 feel, something you have to experience yourself to get it. Don’t miss it!

We stayed for two weeks, using Duntrune House as a base to travel all over Scotland. The place itself is a wonderful old Scots Baronial style home, which still retains the feel of a home rather than a hotel.
