Arthurs View Guesthouse is so called as you can see Arthur's Seat from the living room window...

This is a victorian property that has been converted into apartments. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment for a weekend.

The place is so lovely. It is really well decorated inside, the rooms are massive, and well equiped. I think this is a listed building, and as such still maintains a lot of the traditional feel of such big houses!.

The kitchen itself is a bit small, so may be slightly impractical if there were four of you and you were planning on cooking up a big dinner... however for us, it was more than enough.

The owner is friendly helpful

The Guesthouse has its own rear car park, and is situated on the main road. You can catch a bus to take a short trip into the centre of Edinburgh, or as we did, take a leisurely 30 min walk.

I would highly recommend this place, it was really nice to stay at, and excellent value for money. more
