Everything was perfect. Breakfast superb. Room, bathroom very clean. Like at home. Owners - Ken and Linda very nice and helpfull. Bus stop nearly next to doors. To say that it was ok is to few. It cannot be better.

Ken and Linda give you a lovely warm welcome and have all the local and city knowledge you would need. the location is excellent with a good bus servive nearby derving the whole city. closer you have the village atmosphere of stockbridge. But I repeat myself. Two nights at The Bield B & B were a great introduction to Edinburgh. The room was great and neat as a pin. Breakfast was one of the best on our entire trip. Convenient bus stop to Princes and Holyrood. Waitrose within walking distance. Off-street parking. Great hosts. What more could you ask for?

This was my 3rd time at the Bield, and again Ken and Linda were incredibly nice. It's really easy to contact them, and they're always waiting for you when you get there. The Bield B& B is excellent. Linda and Ken do everything possible to make a person feel welcome and cared for---nothing but the highest rating for everything about this B&B. My plane was delayed, so me and Lise arrived late in the evening, but Ken was easy to get in touch with by e-mail, and there was no problem at all when arriving.
