Stayed from friday July 31 st till sunday August 2nd in the San Marco Guesthouse. I can recommend this accomodation very much. The proprietor is helpfull. You're feeling almost at home. I can only speak for room No. 5 at the front. It is a large room with three beds, luxury bathroom and is clean, as is the whole accomodation.... more
We started off our tour of Scotland at the San Marco in Edinburg. Our host, Avril, was super sweet and very informative. She gave us all kinds of info and tips about the city. She had a great sense of humor and was always concerned with making sure our stay was a comfortable one. Our rooms were in the back... more
This is a lovely, clean and friendly guest house situated on one of the main routes to the city centre. The owner, Avril made me most welcome. Breakfasts are awesome. Even went to the trouble of getting me connected to their wi-fi! more
