Service polite, friendly and professional. Room very comfortable and clean. Large bathroom and bath. Shower a bit weak to be honest, but perfectly adequate. Breakfast service was good and good range of options.

Room very nice and well laid out, very spacious as was the bathroom. Breakfast in the morning was one of the best Ive had; not a buffet job, but to order and everything hot. Eggs fresh as was the haggis.

We stayed here as part of a Great Rail Tour and found the hotel was close to city centre, Waverley train station, modern hotel but old world exterior. Tge rooms were clean, large and had all modern facilites. The staff were friendly & helpful. The food for dinner and breakfast was great. Thanks for great stay.

First time to Edinburgh. Hotel we excellent. Very nice, clean and in a great location to explore the city. Very close to the rail station so no cabs required! We were traveling with one of our grown children and they had the room already setup for 3 as requested. Would highly recommend this hotel!

We had a nice stay at Apex Waterloo Place hotel. Little disappointed with room. Need to improve in Housekeeping--Specially bathroom, found hair in bathroom. Need to clean shower floor with strong cleaner to remove build up between tiles (grouts). Overall, it was good experience.
