we had a group reunion with friends and decided on edinburgh as a central place to meet up for a few days ! choosing " The Robert Burns" guest house as our place to stay John and his staff made us so welcome during our stay and gave us lots of info for things to do and places to go ,we all had cars ,but only used them for the trip home .there was free on-street parking but a really good bus service outside the front door. We took advantage of the very tasty breakfast to set us up for the day with a choice of full cooked or an extensive healthy continental option.our rooms were comfortable with lots of hot water! and great views over the sea ( we had the entire top floor) We decided to try the tempting evening menu for one of our nights ,however most of the tables where pre-booked ( not a problem..!)
