very central bed and breakfast possibility, close by foot to old town, very good breakfast, orientated at your personal wishes, friendly and helpful housekeeper, we would recommend the house as a good starting point for visiting Edinburgh

My husband and I stayed for one night at this B&B for our Christmas celebration. It was a perfect location as it's located in the city centre within walking distance to restaurants and bars as well as the famous Prince's Street and George Street where all the shops are located. There's also a bus stop just a few step away... More

Stayed for one night. Room was very clean, warm with en suite bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. Ideal location with only a 15 minute walk to the city centre. Lovely hosts who were very helpful. Will be back. Thanks Ruth and Agus.

We only stayed for two nights, but both were just what we expected. We were attending a concert at Murrayfield Stadium and the guest house was an ideal location for both this and the town centre, more or less exact distance for both, both of which we were able to walk. Owners were very friendly and accommodating and would definitely... More

Son stayed at Burns Guest house for a few days prior to moving in to his Napier University housing. Guest House was very convenient to all the site-seeing and bus stops. The owners were very cooperative and helpful in the booking process and readily accommodated a late change when our son's move out time changed. Son reported that the room... More

The policy of the b&b clearly states that on the day of your departure 'luggage storage is available' but when asked for the owner told me it was not possible because he was busy on that day. No discounts or alternative solutions were offered for the disservice. I would raccomand to ask in advance if you plan to leave your... More

We have offered a solution to Joseph Gabrieli (Italy), but apparantly he did not took it and choose to write the opposite which is very shameful. He is a doctor who came for a medical conference. At that time we explained that we have a medical appointment has been made several weeks before. So it is a shame that as... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Burns Guest House. The owners were very friendly and offered very personal service. The location was also convenient - you could be in the centre of Edinburgh in twenty minutes, depending on how quickly you walk. There is also a supermarket five minutes' walking distance away. I will probably be visiting Edinburgh again in... More

I stayed in Burns B&B 3 years ago so I looked it up again on my return to Edinburgh this year. I was a bit apprehensive when I heard of new ownership. Ruth and Agus have maintained the same high standards maintained by their predecesser. As a single occupant I shared a bahroom with one other person whom I never... More
