The hotel was acceptable. The bathroom was very small (we almost missed the shower on first inspection as it was hiding behind the door!) and could have been cleaner. There is a serious lack of any type of furniture in the room apart from the bed (as one would hope there is) and a desk. There are no side cabinets.... more

A very basic hotel, even by Travelodge standards, but for the money the location is superb, situated near the western end of Princes Street. Bus stop for airport shuttle right outside hotel which was a godsend in the pouring rain! Teuchters pub in nearby William Street worth a visit. more

Had stayed previously when it was the Clarendon Hotel. The travelodge having just opened in July was a disappoinment. The single room although quiet was likened to a large cupboard. This is the second Travelodge we stayed at. We were positively surprised. The hotel was central without the noise ( I guess we were lucky to get a room at the back), clean and rather spacious. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Sure, the hotel is not very characterful but the city is! We really recommend this place as good... more
