Wonderful traditionally decorated inn! Situated in a beautiful residential area but only 1.5 miles to the Royal Mile. Great for families or single person stays. James was a wonderful host and made you feel part of his home... what a great welcome to Scotland!

We booked at the last minute and had the most wonderful stay. Very nice family room, with en-suite Very clean and the owner/staff were really helpful. Loved it. Kids loved the free WiFi. Full English breakfast was delicious.

I would say that the 3 stars given by VisitScotland are a bit too tight; actually, I couldn't notice any difference with another B&B rated 4 stars. What a discovery. Very close to the Pleasance, Venue 33, Underbelly, Assembly Tent, George Square.
