This was our second stay at the Ashlyn Guest House, and we will undoubtedly return. Spacious, immacuately clean, comfortable, quiet and the proprietors were wonderful. They were flexible about breakfast times when we wanted an early start. Conveniently situated on a main bus route into central Edinburgh, a journey taking only 10 minutes.

I actually stayed here in June or July 2011. I had a single room at the top of the house with the separate private bathroom - all was nice and clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and service very welcoming.

Really nice guest house about 20min walk from Edinburgh centre. Stayed here at the end of a cycle trip over the May bank holiday weekend - made to feel very welcome. Rooms really nice and lovely breakfast in the morning.
