I booked a Superior Double room two months before our one night stay and mentioned that it was a special birthday trip away. We arrived mid-afternoon to find our room was not ready but the staff dealt with it professionally by inviting us for a free drink in the bar. It turned out we only have to wait 10 minutes.... more

This was a great hotel for many reasons. The rooms were modern and comfortable with lovely toiletries and nice condiments. The restaurant served delicious food and at a reasonable price (the set menu of three courses was £17). The staff were all friendly and helpful. I would most definitely stay here again.
