We've just returned from a weekend in Edinburgh. I've never been compelled to write a review of anything online, but felt credit was due on this occasion. Top pointers for me were: VERY helpful and polite staff including FoH, Restaurant and cleaners. An international mix of staff - which I think is a plus. We stayed here for one night in October, 2009. After flying all night I was really hoping this hotel was going to be restful. I wasn't dissapointed. The room was very clean and bright, the bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was big with a separate tub. I took a nice long bath and slept for 14 hours straight.... more
