We stayed here recently for the New Year celebrations. The location was good, with excellent public transport links into the city. We also used the free night bus for the New Year celebrations which was excellent, stopping at a bus stop very nearby. Stayed at the Acer Lodge for three nights over the Hogmanay period, a particularly busy time of year. Although a few miles outside of the city, transport by buses was easy, cheap and convenient.
