We spent a night here for my wife’s birthday. The hotel is part of the ‘hand picked’ chain and is sited in it own grounds being split into two, the hotel, and the spa. Booked a standard room and it was stunning with a huge tv. Fantastic breakfast and also brasserie evening meal was high standard. Stayed here whilst on a business trip. Much better than the usual hotels I end up in. Rooms were spotless, food superb and staff very friendly. Came here with aged mother for lunch. No reservation. No problem. Magnificent grounds. Located near Edinburgh airport but only as the crow flies. You feel like you are miles away! Situated in a nice quiet location. The rooms are very clean and very well equipped. We had a tv in the bathroom! The pool area in the Spa is a nice size. I thing I would say before getting there, is if you would like any treatments in the Spa, to book them in advanced. To avoid disappointment. more
