Lobbies and hallways are a little tired in places but rooms themselves are absolutely fine: clean, comfortable, appropriate amenities. I stayed there for 2 nights in June 2011...went to Edinburgh with friends so looked for cheap budget. Quite a walk- about 15 mins from train station and it's like a maze from inside. Wouldn't recommend for family/couples. More
