We have just returned from a weekend stay in the Balmoral hotel and I just had to take some time to write this review by way of thanks for the incredible service we had from the moment we arrived on the pavement outside the hotel. We enjoyed every minute of our stay, from the moment we stepped through the door. All of the staff were attentive, especially David the Concierge who booked a meal on our behalf for Saturday night at Michael Wishart's restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble and the attention to detail was superb. We look forward to our next visit. more

Great location just over Waverley Station. Spacious room but ask for an outward-facing room if a view is important to you, otherwise you'll get a view of the interior (not terribly attractive but still very quiet).
