I stayed in the Balmoral in June for one night (business). The location was excellent, as was the hotel facilities and service. The hotel made a point of making sure everything worked, and worked well, from the check-in greeting onwards. Very impressive....

Me and my mother had afternoon tea there, just whilst she was visiting and before her train (since it's so handy for waverly station). The staff were exceedingly friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The food was exquisite, the tea was delicious and the harp set exactly the right mood - very peaceful.
