Not really too much to add to other reviews. The receptionist could hardly be bothered to pull himself out of his chair when I checked in, and his colleague when I checkout couldn't even grunt a good morning or thank you for staying. The room was very basic; clean but nothing special; the TV was next to useless; the "desk"... more

We stayed her for one night prior to visiting the university. Wish we had read the reviews before we booked. I always read hotel reviews on trip advisor before booking any hotel. On this occasion I didn't. Never again. I thought travel lodge what can be wrong! Quite a lot actually. The whole place is dirty and grubby in dire... more

Quite a disappointment after other recent experiences of stays with Travelodge. The room we were first allocated was dark and had an unsavoury smell of damp. The bed had been made up with fresh linen and looked OK, but the rest of the furniture looked grubby and tired. The bathroom was distinctly unappetising. The floor was dirty. The facilities looked... more

Having stayed in numerous travel lodges, I booked this one without a second thought, It is advertised as being near the airport, so we booked for a night following a late flight into the city. BIG mistake, the receptionist seemed unimpressed with our 11pm arrival. The room was up an extremely complicated array of stair cases. The room itself is... more

We had booked the Travelodge at Dreghorn for two nights, as it was covenient for visiting friends in Cockenzie and Morningside. The first room we were shown reeked of cigarette smoke. There was a fag end, with ash, on the window sill, and at the other end of the window sill was an unlit cigarette with a glass of water.... more

I don't wish to launch into pages and pages of disgusted commentary, so I shall keep this brief. We were due to travel to Edinburgh for the Heineken Cup Final, and our first task, once our team had reached the final, was to locate accommodation as close as possible to Edinburgh. All we could find was the Travelodge Dreghorn. The... more

Very disappointing stay at this Travelodge. On arriving the carpark was strewn with litter (some obviously had been lying for a while) this gave a very 'neglected' first impression. Rooms are very tired and in need of refurbishment. My ground floor room had a rather musty smell, the room was cold and the heater was not effective. Ensuite was well... more
