Stayed at this B&B in July 2005. Just returned this November. It is still GREAT! We had the large room upstairs with the bay windoe overlooking the street. Just redone. OUTSTANDING! Comfy beds, great baths and the breakfasts outstanding. Tracey will make you feel like you are in her home. Robin is the owner and is just wonderful. Helped arrange... more

I had a very pleasant eight-night stay at Ardmor House. It is welcoming, comfortable, convenient, and affordable. Two things stand out. First, Tracey, who is on the premises most days and usually prepares the breakfasts, is a joy. She was our friend from day one, and she gave us excellent, candid advice about what to do (and what not to... more

This is a lovely B&B with large bedrooms, lovely breakfast and quiet location, Probably about 30 mins walk to the Royal Mile but you can get the bus, Good places for coffee on Broughton Street (use recommendations in the file in the bedrooms) Otherwise, try 'Always Sunday' on the High Street. more

Stayed for three nights last month and enjoyed it very much owing to the friendly welcome, immaculate and stylish room and the great breakfast each morning. Would very much return if only to see Lola, the owners dog, again! more

Of the four hotels we stayed in during our travels in the UK, this was the best. It was also the cheapest and smallest., so that's says a lot! The location is great- near the attractions but not in the midst of noise and traffic. Our room was small but comfortable and quiet (facing the garden). Breakfast the next morning... more

We stayed 4 nights at the Ardmor House during New Years. The inn has only 5 rooms, 4 on the second floor. Breakfast is served in the first floor dining room and was a highlight of the day. A full menu is offered and the meal can be cooked to order. Our room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was... more

My husband and I stayed at the Ardmor House Bed & Breakfast while in Edinburgh. It had rave reviews everywhere I looked and we now understand why. Lovely! Great location, superb breakfast and ultra-chic but still comfy. It's difficult to get reservations, it's THAT good. Extremely friendly and helpful. Be sure to ask for their dinner recommendations - they are... more

We were impressed immediately on our arrival, primarily because we did not have a parking problem which is so commonplace. We were met at the entrance by Colin and Robin the proprietors who assisted us with our cases and made us very welcome and like one of the family.. Our room was spacious with plenty of storage for our clothes... more
