The Sheridan Guest House is beautifully kept by owners, Rowena and Tom. Our room was small but well-appointed and comfortable; the included breakfast is excellent, as is the hospitality. The owners are very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about Edinburgh. Highly recommended. Rowena herself is worth the stay at the Sheridan -- she's wonderful!

Stayed for an overnight with my wife.The room was immaculate and bed was really comfy. The quality of the breakfast spread was better than expected, (my wife really enjoyed the porridge with stewed apple and cinnamon). Tom and Rowena, the owners, looked after us in such truly kind way! They learnt our names, gave us advice and let us keep our bikes inside the house without prior arrangement. Went for a long weekend with 2 friends and we had a brilliant time. Tom and Rowena are delightful, thoughtful and welcoming hosts! They're also helpful when it came to suggesting things to do or helping with directions. The guest house is spotless and extremely comfortable, and the breakfast is incredibly delicious :) Definitely recommended when visiting Edinburgh.
