We recently stayed in an apartment ran by this group, which is located in a different address from the main site. They seem to have apartments in residential blocks, that they rent out. The customer service is very poor, the staff is rude and unflexible, and "computer says no" seems to be the norm. In spite of my clear request... More

I am really sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay with us. The appartment you stayed in is a two star apppartment and it specifies on the booking page that it is basic accommodation and better suited to groups of friends looking to enjoy the city. It also states that the apartment is made up of a sofa... More

I would like to say that our recent stay in April here was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful and went out of there way to help us with getting to know Edinburgh, what to do and where to go! Our room was comfy and cute and all that we need for a weekend away with friends! The location... More

I booked the garden apartment far a weekend away for 3 couples. The apartment is far below average and not the experience thay advertise, one room even had a damp wall and wet carpet after a heavy rainfall. We booked out a bit late, I was apologetic for this but received a torrent of abuse over the phone from staff,... More

I've never experienced staying in a hotel where none of the staff have any basic knowledge of the area. The only response I received to any questions I asked was: "I've only one week been here, I don't know." The room itself was very nice and clean, minus the pigeons living on our windowsill which we thought would fly in... More

Its a fraud hotel, i booked the hotel and asked for the parking however, when i was arriving, they did not served parking space and said they did not have responsibility for it. And then i went to dinner, when i was back, they gave the room to another one and told me there was no room left and asked... More

We are just married couple and we stayed in Aarajura guest house for 3 nights. It was excellent stay. I asked the owners to leave champanage and flowers in the room and it wasn't problem for them. They abgreaded our standard for no extra costs. It was really nice to stay there. The breakfast in bed was teasty and cute.... More

We have used both aarajura guest house and aarajura apartments a lot this month and in april for ourselves and collegues and our familes. The service has been impeccable, the quality of the rooms excellent and the breakfasts for those in the b and b were delicious. Supposed to be a 4* guest house but it was more like a 2* at 4* prices. Me and my boyfriend stayed in the Aarajura's 4 poster bedroom. The room overall was ok, however the bathroom was badly finished, the £10 extra we paid to have the 4 poster bed was definitely not worth it as the bed was poor... More

When we saw the posting below, we knew we were not alone. We stayed in the Aarajura Guesthouse for two nights in August. Having seen the website of the guesthouse we were also very much looking forward to our 2 night stay in Edinburgh but we were astonished when we saw the room, which was totally different from the pictures... Having seen the website and positive reviews we were looking forward to our 2 night stay at the end our our Scottish tour. Our first impression of our room was of disappointment. The decor was dated and the the room felt dreary. The bed spread was grubby and had some stains on, as were the cushions on the bed and... More

as a long term member of the team at aarajura i am so angry to read this review from these guests. we bent over backwards to satisfy their hundreds of demands. we spent hours re doing their room, then moving them rooms then offering them money off. their complaints were so unfounded and everyone here and other guests who heard...
