the accomodation was ok, it had everything we needed but what made our entire trip was the nightclub on the Monday night! i think the nightclub is called zonic mondays or something? :S but anyway, it was so much fun and the DJ Zonite guy was incredible, can't believe an Edinburgh nightclub has a DJ that can actually use the... Location wise it's very good, close to pretty much everything. We got there relatively easy, but when we went to check in things started to feel wrong. First the guy over charged us, then he didn't even give us all the money back. He and his friend claimed they were Nigerian when they clearly didnt look it and had a... More

I travelled to Edinburgh for an end of university trip with 7 others and we stayed at this hostel for four nights. The Pro's of this hostel is the location which is just off Princes Street and is in easy walking distance to all of the tourist attractions, also there is the price of £8 per night, which includes as... The good things about this hostel is just the location and the price. The rooms are dirty, the sheets and blankets are old and stained and on the first night i didnt had pillow, and the lockers dont have keys. The hostel staff are kinda rude and dont have too much patience giving info

Upon arrival I was actually fairly impressed with the room our group were given, I have stayed in hostels much, much worse. What quickly spoiled this though was the attitude of the hungover, arrogant, rude and downright sinister bloke on the desk. He couldn't have been more unwelcoming and unpleasant. Things got worse from there as we realised that this... More

After reading the other reviews on here I wasnt expecting much from this place but it was booked by a friend and I went with it. As soon as you walk through the door its awful dirty and clean laundry on the floor old staircase with ripped up carpet going up the stairs. Went to book in the guy on... More

Do not stay here. The rooms were dirty. The shower was dirty. We were in a big group and booked the whole of a 10 bed room and we still had other people managing to get in and go to sleep whilst we were away and on one occasion trying to steal a phone. The whole place felt unsafe and... More

This is easily the worst place I've ever spent a night at, and bear in mind that I've also spent a night on the sidewalk outside Waverley Station. The beds squeak terribly (even your breathing makes them squeak) so if you happen to share a room with others it becomes unbearable. The place is fairly dirty and I'd leave it... More

This is by far the worst place i've ever stayed in my life and I have stayed in many hostels all over the world, including many in third world countries which were far better than this one. The rooms were filthy, with old used plasters on the floor amongst other dirt, newspapers in the room that were a month old,... More
