We stayed here two years ago and again this year in September. The ownership has changed. Its a good bed and breakfast place very well located just a few minutes away from the centre of the city. The hostess was very helpful and hospitable

I am happy that our first trip to Scotland began with such a nice experience. This B&B is really cool. It's warm, friendly, nice and clean and within walking distance to the Royal mile as well as Arthurs seat. We were lucky as the owners upgrated us from a smaller room to a bigger with a (well, actually two) big... More

We stayed one night in this guesthouse. After a warm welcome by the host he brought us to our room, wich had an amazing view. Big and comfortable bed, clean sheets and pillows and a modern bathroom. Breakfast was excellent. Nice and quiet area with public transport nearby. Very recommended!

We stayed in the MacKenzie room which is a small double room with the most beautiful view of Arthurs Seat from our window. On arrival we were warmly greeted by Doug who showed us to our room. We were thoroughly impressed with the room, bathroom and the guest house overall. It was clean and very tastefully furnished. The room had... More

Stayed there a Saturday night and we were travelling with a van. The guy that runs the House helped us park the van and he was very nice and friendly. Nice area, nice room, very polite and friendly owner, i think his name is John Well Done!

We booked this stay for the fringe. Lovely large house on a main road and is around 20mins healthy brisk walk to the royal mile etc but buses seem to pass very regular and cost around £1.40 each.  Our room was well decorated, modern, good quality and very clean although our room was very small, but suffice. The host Lorna... More

We recently stayed here during the Frunge Festval. It is a great location. We were able to walk to the Royal Mile. We did, however, by a bus pass for a day as we were in and out quite a bit. Breakfast was yummy and our room overlooked the street and Arthur's Seat.

On the final day of our anniversary trip we stayed at the Clan Walker guest house and we were pleasantly surprised! The room was very welcoming and relaxing with a very comfortable bed. The host was extremely friendly and made sure we had everything we needed and made our stay comfortable. Their porridge was the best that I've ever had!... More

We stayed at Clan Walker in February when my boyfriend took me away for a surprise weekend to propose to me! We stayed in the magnificent 4 poster room which has a beautiful traditional 4 poster bed, chandelier and lovely modern bathroom. The hosts were very friendly and were extremely kind - we announced our engagement to them at breakfast... More
