Unfortunately we stayed at the Orocco Pier over a rainy few days and the Rail Bridge was covered in scaffolding and tarpaulin. Parking was difficult. The hotel has no car park so you have to try your luck with the public car park nearby which was often full or the Co-op car park up on the hill. The room seemed... more

From check in to departure my boyfriend and I were made to feel special. The service was excellent - attentive but not intrusive, the food was superb and for someone who loves seafood, it was simply perfect! I still think about the langoustine main I had! However, without doubt the highlight of our trip was the location and THAT VIEW... more

Booked a one night getaway as a Xmas present for my other half. Was told on the phone it would be room 11 but was room 12, (same great view) also asked to book a table for dinner at the window but was given a booth further into the restraunt but still with the great view of the Firth road... more

Second stay at the Orocco Pier, got married there last year. There seems to have been a change in staff but they have kept the friendly service and great "feel" going. Our room had the most wonderful view over the Forth Bridges and the Firth, breath taking! Had dinner and breakfast there, the atmosphere and food were just wonderful. It... more

We stayed in the executive suite as part of our honeymoon. The room was nicely decorated, very modern and very comfortable. It had a fantastic view over the River Forth towards the Forth bridges and they even provide a telescope to look out over the water. The only thing that spoils it is the windows are very old fashioned and... more

We live in South Queensferry and have always loved the Orocco Pier for drinks. It's the kind of place where the staff are so friendly all the time, whether you're going in for one drink or spending a lot of money on a meal. We were lucky enough to have our wedding in the Fuchsia room downstairs on at the... more

We have stayed at orocco Pier a few times over the last couple of years and love the contemporary bedrooms some of which have stunning views over the Firth of Forth and Forth Bridge. The rooms were all totaly refurbished a couple of years ago, the bathrooms are superb. Eating there is a very enjoyable and reasonably priced experience. Really... more

A bit disappointed. Parking was a nightmare on the narrow road, needed to double park to unload the cases, not good with passing cars. The puplic car park was some distance away and with equipment in the boot was a bit of a worry to be left overnight. The room we booked was an executive with bridge views, however spoilt... more

I've stayed at the Orocco Pier three times now when on business. I'll certainly be staying next year when working in the area, I also plan to take my wife as it is such a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location, with what must be one of the best restaurants in Scotland. Queensferry is around twenty minutes drive from Edinburgh... more
