Only spent the Saturday night at Craigmore but we arrived at 9 on Saturday morning after an early flight and Rae cooked us a breakfast. Very friendly welcome from Peter and Rae. Lovely clean rooms with our own private bathrooms. Kettle and a jug of water in room. Room key had front door key attached so you can come back... more
Craigmore B&B at 20 Craigs Road was easy to find (we had taken the train to the Haymarket station). Mrs. MacKenzie gave us good directions before arriving and advised us on which bus or taxi we could take and how much that would cost approximately (8 or 9GBP). A very beautiful place to stay. Although we stayed only for one night, we were totally overwhelmed by the place itself and also the warm hospitality that Mr and Mrs Mackenzie gave us. Although it is situated between Edinburgh Airport and Edinburgh town center, yet there are enough bus routes for those, who like me, do not have a car.... more
Rae and Peter MacKenzie gave us a lovely welcome to their small B & B just 7 minutes drive from Edinburgh Airport.
