My husband and I stayed 3 nights during our travels, booked the "family room en suite" on the Drumorne's website, the double room was not available. Ended up paying 50 pound sterling per night which was the cheapest I could find en suite not too far outside of downtown Edinburgh. There is only one flight of stairs (not too narrow)... more

It is a pleasant place to stay just out of the CBD. The Owner is friendly and helpful. We stayed for a couple of days in a room (and bathroom) of adequate size. Unlike the other reviewer, we found this B&B to be very reasonable in price and quite comfortable. A nice place for a quieter stay in Edinburgh; the distance from the city centre seemed daunting but we quickly got the hang of the cheap buses. The owner was friendly and accommodating. This is a nightmare place to stay. The rooms are tiny. I had no room to unpack my suitcase. The bed clothes are ancient, and the rooms could all do with a major decoration.
