We chose Kirkcaldy as a destination since it is close to both Edinburgh and St. Andrews. We chose Ahaven B&B since it is within walking distance of the train station and close to various shops.
After a bit of difficulty finding it, we were pleasantly surprised on entering this elegant and superbly furnished B&B.
The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. The breakfasts were very good, thanks to Gina, and the dining room is very cosy.
We stayed at the Ahaven for 4 nights and it was a perfect home base for our visits to Edinburgh and St. Andrews.
One thing could be improved - the directions on the website were a bit sketchy and the signage at the front door is hard to see as you drive along High Street trying to locate this gem of a B&B. more
