Very well-presented, quiet bed and breakfast close to the heart of Kirkcaldy. The owners were very friendly and thoughtful and provided a fantastic service. The breakfasts were superb and generous and there was plenty of helpful advice and information at hand. The room was spacious and very comfortable with fantastic en-suite facilities. Location was excellent for access to Fife coast... More

My husband and I stayed here with my mother whilst visiting family locally. Charming B&B - with the best breakfasts (including black pudding if you like!). Rooms are welcoming (we had both the 'attic' rooms) and had all the facilities we needed such as hairdryers, towels, place to hang our clothes etc. Even a trouser press! The only small niggle... We stayed at The Invertiel in August and were delighted. From the very moment we arrived we felt very spoilt. The room was beautifully presented and the whole property was spotless - you could have eaten off the floor. The breakfast was second to none, with a huge choice of fresh fruit, cereal, toast and pastries and the cooked food... More

We stayed at Invertiel for three nights as a short family break. The location was perfect for exploring the local area and was incredibly convenient for the station and all local amenities. We were made to feel very comfortable and there was a relaxed friendly atmosphere. The room we had was very clean, quiet and comfortable; and the breakfast was... More

For us, there's only one place to stay when we're in Kirkcaldy and it's this one! We've stayed here many times over the past few years and also stayed in Harry & Linda's bed and breakfast before Invertiel. Their experience shines through in all areas: warm welcome; comfortable room; lovely breakfasts with a good choice of fresh fruits, cereals, cheeses,... More

We book our room through LateRooms.com, originally with the Ahaven B&B, which apparently was full, so we ended up sleeping at the Invertiel. It is definitely one of the best B&B I've stayed. Conveniently located 5 min. walking from Kirkcaldy train station, has everything you need if you want to visit Edinburgh avoiding the super touristy hotels and hostels in... More

We stayed one day. Warm welcome but the pictures on the website did not have any indication that there are only skylights and no windows. Therefore no view. There was no concession for a single person. Breakfast was very good. More

This lady from India insisted in having 2 rooms for 3 persons. We told her that it was high season and we did not have any single rooms available and the option was a family room sleeping 3 persons for single occupancy. Normal price in July/August is 35 pounds per person with full breakfast and all taxes included. We agreed... More

We stayed at Invertiel for 4 nights while we were in Scotland. We were travelling with friends and found this to be a great location for doing day trips in the area. Our rooms were well appointed and beds very comfortable. Breakfasts were yummy with so much choice! Linda and Harry were such gracious hosts! We couldn't have asked for... More

We stayed at Invertiel for 1 night for an anniversary party in town. The quality of this establishment is striking from the very first moment that you set foot on the premises. Linda & Harry make you most welcome and at ease immediately, they were very helpful with our requirments. The room was of the highest standard and the decor... More

My brother recommended the Invertiel B&B for our stay while visiting him. Facility was quiet, clean and very comfortable. Linda and Harry very welcoming and we enjoyed some cheery chats. Very knowledgable about the area and transportation. Great breakfast - good selection of fruits & cheeses, cereals and yogurt as well as beautifully cooked breakfast. Within walking distance to town... More
