My husband and I stayed here for one night and were very comfortable during our stay. We had a beautiful room with a four-poster bed and a bathroom large enough that some hotels would have made an extra room of! We had a lovely roll-top bath as well as a shower cubical.
However, when you look closely, the hotel is looking a bit tired. There were little things that made us realise that this wasn't pure luxuary - the towels were hard, the paint work was sloppy, the shower head was dirty, the cracked woodwork was just painted over rather than filled and painted... But perhaps that's why it's only £100 a night B&B and not double that!
I would stay here again and the owners seem to be really trying to make it perfect, but it's not quite there yet!
The staff, however, were very helpful and friendly and the location is superb. more
