A fabulous hotel. Being a bit out of town, it has great views and is quiet. The staff can't do enough for you and are uniformly pleasant and good humoured. The rooms are well appointed and have everything that you would expect - although having a mirror that was accessible and next to a plug socket would be great - I don't enjoy moving furniture. That said, it's my only niggle. A real high spot is the breakfast. There is a huge number of options - pancakes, bacon and maple syrup are a personal favourite. There is also no need to worry about being out of town and how to get into St Andrews. The courtesy bus runs regularly and will pick you up within 15 minutes of your 'phone call. They've really thought of everything. more
