The hospitality provided by the Burness house is top notch, the ammenities are wonderful, each of our rooms had everyhting we needed. Breakfast in the morning was cooked fresh and always ready. Hazel made it feel like home, I will always try to stay there when I return. more

Warm and friendly guest house, great breakfast and only 5 minutes walk to the Old Course. St Andrews is a golfer's paradise and for the golf widow there are shops in abundance. There is no shortage of restaurants catering for all tastes. Definately worth a return visit. more

Our group of 4 stayed at Burness House for 5 days as home base for a week of golf in St. Andrews and vicinity. The location is very convenient, the rooms were clean and well equipped, and the service--including serving early breakfast to accomodate early tee times --was outstanding.
