Room quiet away from street noise. Lovely sunny garden. Hotel let down by reception staff (poor welcome, offhand, rude). Unpleasant odour in bedroom. Would not recommend unless no other accommodation available in the town. Overpriced for accommodation and service offered. more

Albany Hotel is well situated on North St in the heart of St. Andrews. The staff is friendly and helpful and the breakfast (included) was delicious. The hotel itself was nice enough, a good central location with spacious rooms. It was very over priced though, £100 for B&B was a bit of a rip off. We were also very disappointed to find out that they stopped serving breakfast at 9.15am on a Sunday which we felt was far too early for a weekend. more
