great hotel with superb facilities and staff exceptionally good. However, I was very upset to learn on my last visit that the hotel shuttle bus no longer runs after 6pm. This was a very useful facility considering that the hotel is 11/2 miles out of town. Might have to consider a hotel in town in future ! ! more

The hotel is situated approx 2 miles out of St Andrews and a shuttle bus runs guests into town. Sadly, on this last visit, this stops at 6pm so if you want to go out in the evening without the hassle of taking your car and finding a parking space, you pay a lot for a taxi to get back... more

It ticks all the boxes in terms of facilities, however I was somewhat underwhelmed. Plenty of restaurants to cater for all tastes, although menus were uninspiring and overpriced. Great hotel - service from valet, to front desk to bar and restaurant was superb. Rooms are beautiful, and spa was excellent! Can't wait to come back for another long weekend! more
