Shocked would be my first word to describe this place...its fantastic value for money. The rooms are decorated and fitted to an extremely high standard and it should really be a 4 star B&B. The hostess with the mostest, Elaine, was nothing short of superb. Nothing was too much trouble. The full scottish brekkie was just what we needed before... more

We have just returned from a visit to St Andrews where we stay at Balrymonth B&B. We have never experienced such a warm and great hospitality we had during our stay. Elaine, our hostess was charming and she assists us during our stay and made our visit to the home of golf very enjoyable. The room was very good, clean... more

The Barlymonth is highly recommended as the place to stay in St Andrews, as the accommodation was immaculate. We stayed in a room which was very clean,bright & consisted of a Super king sized bed & a large bathroom. Staying at Barlymonth was a delight. Our hostess, Elaine, was a charming mix of wit and fun. Her local knowledge, stories, and assistance enhanced our stay.
