We have stayed here twice, on both occasions we were off to concerts at the SECC, which is just literally a five minute walk away. The hotel itself is about a 20 minute walk away from the town centre, but that’s ok, taxi’s and buses run a good service. Maybe we have just been lucky but both times we have... more

This hotel was dirty, unwelcoming and a big disappointment given the good location and good previous reviews. The room was rundown and the bedding smelly. The breakfast was ok and the breakfast room nice, but once in the rooms it was like stepping imto a differnt hotel. Guests constantly stood outside the front door smoking with the smoke blowing back... more

I attended a conference in SECC and found this hotel to be very useful for this target. The shower is problematic and the room is narrow and basic but good value for the money if you dont have high standarts. The staff was very kind, helpful and did not disturb us. The place is surruonded by resturunts cafe and pubs... more

I spend a week at this hotel, if I could have I would have moved. I had to move room because the bed was broken and the carpet was very dirty. The next room was equally as bad. In fact I never slept in the bed I slept on top and used my towel and my coat as a cover.... more

This hotel is located in a good area and central for visiting many attractions in Glasgow. The Hotel itself was unclean, the carpets were dirty and no hot water. Whilst the cost of the rooms was reasonable, the additional cost to upgrade to a better hotel is worth while. more

Great location for SECC, cheap but very dated and dirty. Also noisey and staff could be more helpful especially at breakfast. more

Me and a friend stayed here mid october 2008 and althoug it was not the most expensive hotel it was not value for money. We had a double room with shared bathroom. I have never seen such a dirty room... I have no idea what color the carpet once was, or the ceiling for that matter. The beds were so... more

I used this B&B for a weekend break. At £38/night for a single en-suite room it is on the cheap side for Glasgow. The location is good being just on the edge of the city centre which is a 5 to 10 minute taxi ride away. There are good bus links from at the hotel. There are several places to... more

My wife and I stayed one week at the hotel for an International Conference at the Scottish Exhibition Center and we found the accommodations very good, even if simple. Location is excellent, close to the Exhibition Center, Kelvingrove and 20 minutes walk to the city centre. Breakfast was good and they offered free wi-fi (on the lower floor), which was... more
