Staff are great, friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but clean and ok. The hotel is near the west end and is about a 10 minute walk to the heart of the city centre where the main shops are. Stayed two night and found it convenient for the price, however, location and room size was a disappointment. Staff was pleasant and helped with taxi on departure. Hotel decor is acceptable if not on the old feeling. Overall ok but choice given would go elsewhere.

Booked a deluxe room for a 3 night break. Room was massive (102) but very cold due to the high ceilings and small radiators. Had to get a fan heater from reception. Felt the springs in the bed a few times. Breakfast buffet missing the fried eggs. No bar. Plenty eating places nearby.
