Perfect location, it’s the same building as the train station. 2 min walk to shopping in Argyle Street, cafés, restaurants and bars. It’s an old building, but it has what you need; clean room (well, it has that typical British wall to wall carpet, so as clean as you can get them I suppose...:)) with comfy beds and big bathroom.... more

Good location if you are travel by train as the hotel is just beside the train station. We arrived early morning and were asked to wait for 1 hour as there was no room available. Room is big but with cigarettes smell (perhaps it was a smoking room but we were not awared), bath room is spacious. I found the... more

I went to Scotland for official work and company booked the hotel accordingly however I got married and taken my wife along with me as it was a long stay. Company changed the bookings and booked for me in Quality Hotel Glasgow, as this is adjacent to Central Station (rather my room window opens towards station side). I had a... more

I think previous reviews have said it all really. The Quality Inn is in a great location if you travel to Glasgow by train, as it's literally part of the Glasgow Central station complex. It's got a real sense of grimy grandeur too, it was one of Glasgow's finest hotels in the inter war years. However.... I'm not sure why,... more

This hotel has certainly seen better days, but it has immense character. i agree with the other comments made. As soon as I entered the room I was hit with the smell of mould, but the bathroom was huge, and bright. We declined to use the bath/shower facilities though!! The room was ok. one light didnt work and we had... more

This hotel is an absolute disgrace and was easily the worst hotel I have ever seen. The elevators were all out of service forcing you to make a climb of hundreds of wide steps to your floor with your luggage. There was all kinds of black mold on the walls in the washroom so we switched to another room that... more

I used to think this hotel was okay, I knew the place was past it's best but I didn't expect to be treated like a criminal when I checked out today. I checked in on the 14th expecting a large room with a double bed and a single and instead I entered a tiny room with twin beds, I went... more

My wife and I spent two nights here and uncharacteristically did not read the reviews before hand. When I did ,they certainly sent alarm bells ringing! However, although the hotel has clearly seen better days and is need of a bit of an overhaul, it has character in abundance and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean and... more
