Old building that has not been particularly well-maintained but with lots of potential. I do mean LOTS OF POTENTIAL. Old-style lift, lots of old tiles and architecture. HOWEVER! We got a cheap deal for this hotel at the last minute, paid £89 for b&b on Laterooms. We stayed 1 night, and did check Trip Advisor prior. Was fortunate to be suprised by close friends with trip to Abode to celebrate a significant birthday. The staff were very friendly and helpful and no request was too mcuh trouble. Nice wee hotel in the centre of Glasgow and not too expensive. Funky little old style lift in the centre of the stairwell and very friendly and attentive staff. Would recommend to friends and family, however would warn them that the rooms are a bit small and for some reason they're very warm. more

The room was quite small, a little bit noisy (air conditioner from outside), but it was bearable. The biggest disappointment was the bathroom: towels were clean in general, but with somebodies short hair (and that hair were not from the head), I checked another towel and it had the same problem.
