My dad and I have just got back from this hotel and it had been our second stay. We stay there because it's the nearest hotel to the Govan shipyard and this is where we were heading to watch the destroyer ships being launched. The first time we stayed we didn't have a problem and then when we went to... more

The location suited the purpose of our visit. Unfortunately Rangers were at home to Celtic so hotel was very noisy right through to 4 in the morning. Our fault, we knew this happens but had to visit Glasgow on this weekend. This was once a nice, clean, attractive 4 star hotel. I believe it is now a 3 star. Rooms... more

I would not recommend staying at the Swallow Hotel. The area in Glasgow is not particularly nice. The rooms had old furniture. Staff were not very helpful. The website does not include prices for extras e.g. internet. more

I booked this hotel without looking at the reviews, because the glasgow hotels availability and price. It was a very big mistake. The familiar rooms are small. The furniture needs to be changed. The toillet is very small. Only one small soap, two small shampoos and two small gel bath was provided during 7 nights for 2 adults and 1... more

Dinning room roof was sagging also leaking.Food not that exciting. You need a second mortgage to have a drink very expensive,£3.25 for a pint of lager, asked for crisps, nuts... more

I was part of a coach tour to see the Tattoo. The tattoo was wonderful. Our 3 night stay at Swallow Glasgow was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was so shabby, filthy strong smell of smoke from carpet. Very hot and windows only opened 3inches. Staff lacking motivation. Food for evening meal re-heated Pork with... more

We stayed here for one night and found it adequate for our needs. The room was clean and tidy. The breakfast was good value and it gave me a chance to sample some scottish fare. They have ample parking and some nice walks to the west. We were a bit concerned by the state of the building we had to... more
