If you are looking for 5* luxury, then the Uplawmoor Hotel is not for you. However, if you are looking for a friendly family run establishment who actually do put client service and satisfaction first, it certainly is! My husband and I spent a relaxing 3 night trip here and had a great time. Hats off to both Emma and... more

We had a fantastic 3 night stay at the Uplawmoor hotel recently. We stayed in the accommodation at the side of the hotel, which was ideal for us as a family. Lots of space and a kitchen that we could use to prepare meals for the little one. However we did eat in the hotel on two occassions and found... more

We had a very relaxing couple of days in the Uplawmoor Hotel. A warm, friendly welcome from Emma set the scene for the rest of our break - all the staff were very helpful and attentive. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived (our fault for arriving early) but that worked to our advantage because we had a lovely lunch... more

We used this as a base to go walking, cycling. In a quiet village, this is a Green hotel within easy reach of the Clyde coast. AND Glasgow. Room reasonable size with very comfortable beds. An extra chair was no sooner asked for than the manager himself brought one. Ensuite smallish but v.g. facilities with great shower & spotless. Lovely... more

In July of this year my husband and I were privileged to stay at the Uplawmoor Inn in Scotland. This was a most auspicious occasion for both of us as it was our wedding. Our family from Spain, Germany and England came and stayed at the Hotel with us and none of us have been better taken care of in... more

A good little hotel thats handy for the south of Glasgow but far enough out to avaiod the hustle and bustle of city living. The food is good and the staff friendly and helpful. The menu is interesting and varied and all freshly prepared. A sign of a good eatery is the nukmber of locals who use both the bar... more

I travel around the country as an IT consultant frequently and stay in all sorts of hotels - from the 5 star glamour hotels in London to little B&B's. However, I have never come across such a charming hotel as Uplawmoor and can heap nothing but praise on them. The hotel staff are first class. Warm, friendly, helpful and go... more

We had a mini break in November'06 at The Uplawmoor Hotel, and it was great. We were rather late checking in, but the staff were very kind, helpful and nothing was too much trouble, as we found for the rest of our stay. The bedroom was comfortable, but in need of some re-decoration, but this was far outweighed by the... more

We had a short break in November 2006 at this hotel, which is set in the lovely countryside on the Renfrew/Ayrshire border.Although we arrived late in the evening,we were able to get a cooked meal. The staff were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The bedroom was spacious, comfortable, but in need of some refurbishment. We had breakfasts so filling... more

A very comfortable hotel set in a quiet village far from busy roads. Some of the rooms have just been refurbished to a superior standard, with the remainder to be updated on a rolling program. I have stayed in both ordinary & superior rooms and both are of excellent standard Food is good quality & quantity, in both the Restaurant... more
