Clean adequate, triple room, helpful reception staff, lent us an umbrella for evening! Only breakfast was let down: had to wait for table , and staff cleared away buffet items including milk for tea before we started , bang on 0930. Also cooked breakfast whilst plenty choice was cold. Good location with plenty restaurants in area. more

Spent 2 nights at hotel on 1st and 2nd Nov. Only paid £70 for a double room (through late rooms) and wondered what hotel would be like. Could not have been better. Checked in early, room very modern, clean, cosy and comfortable. Bathroom small but more than adequate. Had a ground floor room overlooking Sisters restaurant but were not aware... more

I came to this hotel full of trepidation after reading some of the poor reviews it had been given, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were very helpful and professional, happy to call taxis for you, and give advice about bars, restaurants and shops. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and admittedly, there were... more

Good value for the money. Breakfast exellent, very good choice of menu. Room was clean and plenty of hot water. Lady on reception very helpful and knowledgeable. Only two suggestions, not enough milk for tea and cofee in room. Danny on reception unprofessional, chewing gum while dealing with customers. Tip for using public transport, have plenty of change as correct... more

We thought this hotel was great value for money. 10 mins walk from the west end. Location perfect for a night out. We prefer the west end to the city center so it suited us perfectly. The room was good. Neat and tidy and perfectly clean. The bathroom was a bit tired but clean. We found all the staff to... more

This a more budget like hotel that has had some renovations done and is located on the corner of a busy road. We were given a room right in the corner of the building which ended up being a bit noisy from the traffic, although later in the evening this dies down (no double glazing). The room itself was very... more

I have never stayed in hotel in which I want to leave straight away. If you are walking from the bus station its not the short distance they tell you its a good half an hour walk some up hill and dragging a heavy suitcase that distance is not a good start. Got to reception which was pleasant and went... more

This hotel is good value for money, but not suitable if you want to be in the thick of things i.e. city centre. There are no lifts in this hotel, (loads of stairs) so it is not great for older travellers, disabled etc. The room was nice, quite modern apart from the bathroom which really does need some updating, although... more

All stairs, no lift. Not a place for elderly or handicapped to stay. Day,evening manager was not very friendly. Was not receptive answering questions and giving directions. Morning staff were more pleasant to deal with. Breakfast needs an exhaust system and a little friendliness would be great. To open at 6:30 am and no staff to be found when arriving... more

stayed here for 2 nights to attend a friends wedding out at Loch Lomond. For £30 each a night this city hotel offers fantastic value and everything you need!! Daniel on reception was friendly professional and very helpful and sorted out all our taxi requirements saving us a fortune on what we had been quoted from other companies (from £55... more
