What a great place. Such nice, friendly people (Angus and Cathy) greeted us when we arrived and seemed genuinely interested in what we were doing. They made us a great breakfast in the morning and we were sad to leave. The rooms are large and comfortable, they have a nice homely feel and we were thankful for the peace and... more

We found the hosts of the Manor Park Hotel extremely friendly and helpful. They were more than willing to advise and direct us around their city. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and served in a wonderfully decorated dining room. more

We stayed here for 1 night, as a stopover to the highlands, mainly due to the good price. Thought the hotel was quite difficult to find and is in the shadow of a road junction. The rooms were clean and comfortable although a little tired. Service was friendly and helpful, and breakfast was very nice in the morning. Make sure... more

Cathy and Angus were great hosts. They made us feel very welcome and provided us with good info for getting around Glasgow. Short drive from Glasgow airport. Easy commute (bus/subway) to downtown Glasgow (we had a rental car, but preferred to take transit). Quiet, desirable west-end location. Comfortable room with in-room coffee/tea/biscuits (keep in mind that all ensuites in Scotland... more

The Manor Park Hotel hosts, Cathy and Angus, were very welcoming and most helpful in guiding us to nearby restaurants and shops. Our ensuite room, however, was a disappointment: very high ceilings made for a hike with heavy luggage up 45 steps to a 2nd floor room (actually 3rd floor) whose only window was a little one in the ceiling.... more

Lovely house, clean , well decorated and very welcoming. The bedroom was very roomy with plenty of wardrobe/drawer space. The en suite quite big, very clean and had a good shower. The toiletries and tea/coffee and biscuits provided were more than adequate. A lovely breakfast was provided . Only discrepancy with the advertisement on booking.com was it is advertised as a licensed... more

We only stayed for 2 nights, at this cosy hotel. I'd say this is more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel. Staff/owners were lovely. Rooms were old fashioned, and a bit tired. Shower was hot and beds comfy – bathroom was a bit tired looking too. Breakfast was great. We had a car, so drove to the restaurant... more

Glasgow was a travel stop en route to Highlands. Manor Park is located in quiet residential area of Glasgow and is a converted, huge, beautiful old terrace home. Very charming on outside but decor is somewhat tired. Our room was dark, shower tiny and water pressure non existent. Ok for room charge, but would have preferred to have stayed downtown... more
